About — Horses 4k

Horses 4k is an experimental duo comprising Jacob Trombetta (pedal steel guitar and electronics) and Robin Guiler (electronics and synthesizer). They create evocative environmental ambient music inspired by the wide open plains of the American imagination.

Shrouded in processed field recordings, Trombetta’s oblique country licks intertwine with Guiler’s drones and glitches in a tapestry of cosmic Americana.

Jacob has a horse, Robin once hid from a herd of feral ponies.
